Support
One of our main aims within the Violet Foundation is support for people, whether the disease has directly or indirectly affected them.
Our support group meetings are totally separate from the Foundations committee meetings and are made up of people that have been affected by meningococcal themselves, or have had a child that has had the disease or people that have lost a loved one.
The meetings, or get-togethers are usually held around the Sydney suburbs area and are very informal.
Support Groups are held at various venues in and around Sydney. Some of the suburbs include Kingswood, Moorebank and Pennant Hills. They are generally held every three months, more if needed.
